File formation is important throughout the process from the design. File formation is necessary to guarantee the ultimate garment or fashion item its original identity. The file is divided into 3 or, with the Sustainable Passport, 4 files as required.
1 The design file:
This file contains all elements about the design.
2 The technical specification file (Production file):
This file consists of a description of the production requirements.
3 The document file:
This file contains other important documents.
4 The Sustainable Passport
The Sustainable passport is a document developed by Silk Fashion, as a passport, in which all used materials and parts of the garment are recorded in codes, including certifications and residual value. By means of the code you can always find all the materials without immediately announcing your suppliers and producers. By working in this way, we provide insight into the total supply chain and product life for your fashion product.
