Garment sampling and Clothing samples
A design and idea for a garment comes to life through a sample. Various samples can be distinguished.
The first physical sample is the fitting sample. This sample is made to assess the fit and manufacturing method. Of course it is preferable to receive this sample immediately in the correct color with all labels and prints. This is not always the case when the final materials are not yet available, but it always gives an exact representation of the actual fit and quality.
Sales samples, these samples are often made in a small series, for example a number per size. Clothing brands use these samples in their showrooms and with agents to write orders. When their sales season is over, a final production order is placed.
